  1. Tama ka Al na mas matagal ka doon mas magastos. I went home last year and was supposed to stay 8 weeks. Ako lang at ang bunso…can you imagine after 4 weeks bumalik na ako dito. I had enough!

  2. yeah the ribbe is also very good actually. The one thing that I dont really like is the lutefisk.

  3. Hei Renny! I think that the right christmas spirit comes when you celebrate it with your love ones. 🙂

  4. Thanks for sharin Al, It must have been a wonderful vacation for you and you’re famlily. To have fun at the Beach on the Christmas Hollidy is kind of odd for a Norwegian of course and I do remember the special feeling while I was in Australia once at Christmas time. I find it hard to get the right Christmas spririt though 🙂

  5. Rachel, sinulit ko ang bakasyon kasi alam ko trabaho na naman dito.

Laureen, ayaw kainin nung bunso ko si Babe. Sabi niya di daw siya kakain ng baboy.

  6. nakaka-gutom naman yan. but then again, kawawa naman si Babe. hehe. hmmm, i suddenly miss the beach now that it’s winter.

  7. Hei Ethel, Naikain na rin kita!:)

Sidney, I do not have a problem understanding why you chose to live there. We are also planning to move to the Philippines but at the moment, we still have responsibilities to take care of here in Norway 😦

Neng, kailan ka ba uuwi sa atin?

Lei, I lost weight because I ended up in a hospital 2 days after christmas day (food poisoning). I had john as a room mate — hehe! Morten had a big contract he could not refuse so he backed out the last minute. We had Per and Trine instead.

Sha, would you believe I paid 1500 pesos for the live pig?

Charles, just be contented with ribbe for the moment 🙂

Beng, kung ako lang, uuwi din ako ng summer kaya lang mas matagal sa atin, mas magastos. Hehe. I had to take my eldest from school for 2 weeks. She has the right to take free days from school if one of the parents are working shift and she has the right to take free to visit her homeland…

  8. Inggit ako sa pasko mo mader. Haven’t celebrated Christmas in the Phils. for 22 years now. Alanganin kasing umuwi during this season dahil 2 weeks lang ang bakasyon ng mga bata sa school. Kaya summer vacation lang ang chance namin. Para din kasi sulit ang homesick.

  9. OMG!! Lechon!! *mouth begins to water* If only i can fed ex a lechon from Cebu towards Bergen! hahahahahaha

  10. anna lynn – nice pics. did you put on weight after all that holiday feastings? what ever happened to john’s friend (forgot his name) who was supposed to go with you? catcha later…. lei

  11. Wow! A whole pig! 🙂 Masarap!
I see that you got a wonderful time in the Philippines. Now you probably understand why I immigrated to the Philippines ! 🙂

  12. aaawww…super ganda ng pics, kakainggit yang nasa beach 🙂
