Between Christmas & New Year

If there is one thing we do when we have the time to relax, we escape to Skjeberg and stay at our little cabin. This year, we used a lot of our weekends there.

and Odd visited us on the 28th of December. I always enjoy their company. They make me feel young.

To Charles and Odd, thank you for a wonderful time!

This is how it is like by the fjords between Christmas and New Year.
I sometimes think that I enjoy coming to this place in the winter than in the summer. It is very peaceful and beautiful (almost magical).

The sea turning into ice.

Someone forgot to take his boat ashore for the winter.

  1. great pictures. having a cabin you can retreat to during the winter sounds pretty neat.

  2. Nino – it is a little bit difficult to say how cold it is here. This winter has been very unstable. Right now it is -4.5 degrees Celsius.

Alternati – it is not a lake it is one of the smaller fjords (sea)

Cruise – fishing is really good in this area. Lots of mackerel.

Renny – Maybe we’ll see each other this year ๐Ÿ™‚

Joey – Nice to have a compliment from an artist like you

Dine – You are right! no place like home sweet home even if it is polluted LOL

    Neng – Punta ka dito!!!!

Beng – Hehhe… I will make sure I always have my hair short then para magmukhang bata. Kaya lang wrinkles give my age away.

Raquel – Have you met another blogger too?

Charles – Hahaha, if it makes Odd feel good, I think I look like someone who has drunk a bottle of wine. LOL

Sidney – Good you are back!

Tim – West coast has better fjords ๐Ÿ™‚ Ofcourse each place has its own charm.

  3. Skjeberg certainly is a nice place – my inlaws used to have a place there, but sold it when they moved out here on the west coast – of course, we followed! Now we’re surrounded by that kind of scenery every day! Wonderful pictures, and it looks like you all know how to have a great and relaxing time. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  10. wonderful pictures. now i realize why my norwegian friends are so proud of their place, sometimes, ranting and raging about our pollution and traffic and many other things. but still, there’s no place like home sweet home. cheers
